Our Mission
Founded in 1999, the Health Funders Partnership of Orange County is a group of foundation, corporate, private non-profit, and public sector funders. The mission of the Health Funders Partnership of Orange County is to improve local health by enhancing the impact and efficiency of health philanthropy and health service delivery in Orange County. The Partnership addresses this mission by identifying strategic issues for collaborative funding or other actions; and by supporting a learning community to gather, review and disseminate information.
The Health Funders Partnership of Orange County is currently chaired by Michael Ruane, President, Children & Families Commission. The Partnership meets bi-monthly, and a Management Committee of six, meets as needed to conduct the business of the Partnership.
The Health Funders Partnership of Orange County is based on a handshake and a shared vision of the Partners to leverage their resources to strengthen the health care system in the county.
