The Children's Health Initiative of Orange County (CHI OC) is a public and private partnership that began operating in 2006. Our healthcare leaders, partners, and donors work together on a mission to implement, support and coordinate county-wide programs for providing health care access to the uninsured and underserved children and families. CHI OC is a part of a statewide community of CHI's, and our focus is Outreach, Enrollment, Retention and Utilization.
CHI OC is the manager of One–e–App for Orange County, which is a web based system that streamlines the application process for families. One–e–App collects a family's information, screens for the potential eligibility of multiple programs, and in most cases, electronically submits the application to be processed by the appropriate program

The Children's Health Initiative of Orange County's (CHI OC) goal is to connect children and families to accessible, affordable healthcare. We strive to improve the health and wellbeing of the families in our community.
